KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee extended its modest gains against the US dollar on Thursday, closing at Rs277.51, up one paisa from the previous session. Meanwhile, the US dollar hovered near an eight-day high after fresh US inflation and economic data slightly increased expectations of a Federal Reserve rate hike.
