The Pakistani rupee continued its upward trend against the US dollar on Thursday, appreciating beyond the Rs278 mark to reach its strongest level in 19 months. The local currency settled at Rs277.97 per dollar, gaining 3 paisa or 0.01 percent from Wednesday’s closing rate of Rs278.00.
