KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee continued to weaken against the US dollar, slipping by 0.09% in the inter-bank market on Monday.
By the end of the trading session, the rupee settled at 284.72, marking a decline of Re0.26.
Over the past week, the local currency also posted a loss, depreciating by Re0.49 or 0.17% against the greenback. According to data from the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the rupee had closed at 284.46, compared to 283.97 at the end of the previous week.
