KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee saw a slight gain against the US dollar, appreciating by 0.07% in the inter-bank market on Wednesday.
By the end of the trading session, the rupee closed at 284.76, marking an increase of Re0.21 from Tuesday’s closing rate of 284.97.
Globally, the US dollar weakened against the Japanese yen on Wednesday, following an overnight decline after US President Donald Trump announced a trade agreement with Japan ahead of a looming tariff deadline.
