The Pakistani rupee extended its upward trend against the US dollar on Monday, appreciating by 0.01% in the inter-bank market. At the close, the currency settled at 281.75, up by Re0.02 against the greenback. According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), this marked the rupee’s 17th consecutive session of gains.
