KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee continued its upward trend against the US dollar in the inter-bank market on Tuesday, appreciating by 0.03%.
The local currency closed at 282.57, marking a gain of Re0.09 from Monday’s closing rate of 282.66.
Globally, the US dollar remained under pressure as growing expectations of Federal Reserve rate cuts dampened sentiment. Investors also weighed the broader economic implications of the US tariffs introduced last week.
