PKR experienced a slight depreciation against the US dollar

KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee recorded a slight decline against the US dollar, slipping by 0.04% in the inter-bank market on Monday.

By the end of the trading session, the local currency closed at 281.77, down by Re0.11 against the dollar.

In the previous week, the rupee had shown a modest improvement, appreciating by Re0.05 or 0.02% in the inter-bank market.

According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the rupee had ended the week at 281.66, compared to 281.71 in the prior week.
