PKR Continued its Upward Trend

KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee edged slightly higher against the US dollar in the inter-bank market on Monday. The currency closed at 280.71, gaining Re 0.01 against the greenback. Last week, the rupee had also recorded a modest increase of Re 0.10, or 0.04 percent, closing at 280.72 compared with 280.82 at the end of the previous week, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
