Pakistan’s remittance inflows reached a record USD 38.3 billion in FY25, reflecting a 27 percent year-on-year increase. However, the expense of routing these funds through the Pakistan Remittance Initiative (PRI) surged even faster—rising 70 percent to Rs 124.14 billion, compared to Rs 72.95 billion in FY24.
