Oil prices rose over USD1 per barrel on Monday, driven by geopolitical tensions after Russia accused Ukraine of targeting President Putin’s residence and concerns over potential supply disruptions in Yemen. Brent crude settled at USD61.94, up USD1.30, while US West Texas Intermediate crude closed at USD58.08, gaining USD1.34.
