November CPI Inflation Surges 6.1pc

Monthly inflation, measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), rose by 6.1 percent in November, driven largely by elevated food prices that continue to fuel inflationary pressures. Data from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics shows that on a month-on-month basis, CPI edged up 0.4 percent in November CY25, compared with a 1.8 percent rise in the previous month and a 0.5 percent increase recorded in November 2024.
