KARACHI: Tuesday witnessed a positive close for the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), and strong corporate earnings drove a minor increase in the benchmark index.
The benchmark KSE-100 Index closed Tuesday at 118,430 points, up from 118,383 points on Monday, a slight increase of 47 points, or 0.04 percent. From 672 million shares in the previous session to 741 million shares today, the ready counter’s daily volume increased significantly.
