ISLAMABAD: Despite a double-digit rise in merchandise exports, Pakistan’s trade deficit widened by 44.16% year-on-year in the first month of FY2025-26.
According to data released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), exports rose by 17% to $2.7 billion in July FY26, up from $2.31 billion in the same month last year.
