ISLAMABAD: In a significant move, the government has opted to abolish the 0.25 percent Export Development Surcharge (EDS) on exports with immediate effect. According to Commerce Ministry sources cited by Business Recorder, the decision offers long-awaited relief to exporters and is expected to enhance Pakistan’s competitiveness in international markets.
