Gold and silver prices recorded a sharp rise on Monday, reaching new peaks in both local and international markets, traders reported. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, gold surged by Rs5,400 per tola and Rs4,629 per 10 grams, hitting record highs of Rs415,278 per tola and Rs356,033 per 10 grams, respectively, as buyers continued to grapple with the relentless rally in bullion prices.
