ISLAMABAD: The government is finalizing its proposals for structural reforms in the petroleum sector, with the aim of steering it out of financial difficulties. Key measures under consideration include renegotiating LNG contracts, addressing the massive circular debt in the gas sector, cutting down excessive port charges, utilizing surplus RLNG, and enhancing efficiency in domestic gas tariffs, sources close to the Petroleum Minister told Business Recorder.
