ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar announced that the digital sales tax on services will remain under provincial jurisdiction, while the proposed general sales tax (GST) on solar panels has been reduced from 18% to 10%.
Addressing the National Assembly on Wednesday, Dar stated that, following extensive consultations with coalition partners and key stakeholders, a consensus was achieved to resolve several contentious budget-related matters.
