KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee extended its modest upward trend against the US dollar for a second consecutive week, gaining 0.03 percent in the inter-bank market. The local currency closed at 277.41 against the greenback, strengthening by Re0.09 from its previous weekly close of 277.50.
